Model WWV/TWV

Navigator water-cooled screw chillers, from 150 to 300 tons, are engineered as a fully VFD-driven platform to meet building applications that aren't suited for traditional chillers. This water-cooled chiller integrates variable volume ratio (VVR®) compressor technology to give you the advantage of a system that is quiet and adapts to real-time building demands for the most efficient and cost-saving operation possible. For mission-critical cooling applications, Navigator's RapidRestore® option can restore power after an outage, and a fast-loading option can restore full load cooling before it's missed. To meet the needs of heating applications, our new heat pump configuration (model TWV) transforms waste heat into valuable and reusable energy that helps reduce operating cost. 

Variable Volume Ratio Technology (VVR)

Navigator’s performance is optimized for every condition and at every hour of the day with Variable Volume Ratio (VVR) technology. VVR compression technology senses the precise amount of lift needed and adjusts the compression ratio on the fly to deliver optimal efficiency, regardless of ambient temperature or time of day. With VVR technology, you don’t pay for over-compression, and get exactly the lift needed.

RapidRestore for Water Cooled Chiller

RapidRestore® and Fast-Loading Technology

Restore cooling and peace of mind in as fast as 35 seconds. A power loss could turn into a critical loss of cooling in mission critical facilities such as data centers, health care buildings, or manufacturing processes. In addition, the Fast-Loading option can restore full load cooling capacity in under 160 seconds. So you can restore critical cooling before it’s missed.

When paired with the optional Templifier TWV configuration, Navigator utilizes the power of heat pump technology, operating with condenser water temperatures up to 140°F. Designed with sustainability in mind, this heat recovery system transforms waste heat into valuable energy for diverse heating applications. And with WWV’s dynamic cooling system, it seamlessly adapts to these fluctuating demands, ensuring optimal temperatures, humidity levels, and quiet operation.
