The Daikin Staunton family demonstrated incredible unity and compassion in response to the recent floods in North Carolina. Led by Rachel Sicheri and her team, Daikin's entire Staunton facility enthusiastically gathered essential supplies like food, water, and clothing. Their dedication didn’t stop there—they personally delivered these donations to North Carolina, ensuring swift and heartfelt assistance for those in need. This initiative truly highlighted the remarkable spirit and commitment of the Daikin family in Staunton to support their community during challenging times.

In another heartfelt effort, Fahmida Rabbi, Codie Phillips, and their team assembled essential boxes specifically for Daikin employees and their families who were impacted by the flooding. These boxes contained critical items such as food, blankets, bed sheets, flashlights, batteries, Tarps, hygiene products etc. to help ease the immediate challenges faced by those affected. In addition, their team organized a large donation of supplies for the local community, further demonstrating Daikin Staunton’s commitment to supporting not only their employees but also the wider North Carolina community during this difficult time. Furthermore, STN HR team partnered with the Augusta community in a separate event, with several employees assisting, to send out additional supplies to the flood victims, showcasing their collaborative spirit and dedication to providing comprehensive support.
