Overlooking the Hudson River and a skyline view of Manhattan, Solutions Plaza brings the next generation of HVAC to life as visitors experience interactive innovation with Daikin technology. For 10 years, the high-tech showroom has given owners, architects, engineers, and contractors a firsthand look at the latest and greatest Daikin equipment, systems, and technology. With the recent decision to resign the lease in Jersey City for at least six more years, Daikin is making an investment to provide this customized experience for the long run.
And data from past years proves this space is worth the investment. The number of scheduled visits to Solutions Plaza has continually increased since its opening, with many Sales Reps returning multiple times in a year. According to Greg DiNardo, Solutions Plaza Manager, customization is key to creating a worthwhile experience. He asks customers their project needs ahead of time and tailors each tour to the group’s interests. With no visit the same as another, Greg ensures every experience is custom designed to exceed expectations.
Chris Tyler, CEO of Thermal Equipment Sales (TES) in Kentucky, vouches that Solutions Plaza is worth the trip. Over the past four years, he has brought over 30 people on seven different occasions, to get hands-on with Daikin equipment and technology displays. “Solutions Plaza really encapsulates Daikin’s wow factor in one place. The visits allow me to show appreciation and maintain positive relationships with existing customers,” Chris shared. “It also proves to be a great place for potential customers to get a firsthand look at Daikin’s latest innovations, with the ability to ask questions in a trusted setting. The showroom really brings a customized, interactive experience that can’t be replicated on a computer screen.” On their most recent visit, TES was able to bring a local school district which has been a competitor’s stronghold for well over a decade. Their visit to Solutions Plaza helped validate Daikin’s leadership in the industry and contributed to the district’s decision to re-evaluate their HVAC options with Daikin moving forward.
Whether you’ve visited before or not, Greg and Chris both attest to the value of scheduling a trip to Solutions Plaza. In fact, 2020 is a great year to visit as the renewed lease is bringing an opportunity to update exhibits on the showroom floor. For instance, the VRV system, which was invented by Daikin in the early 1980s, is the first exhibit to be updated. The updated VRV space will contain an operating system with the new air and water-cooled generations of VRV. Future plans also include updates to the chiller, rooftop, and air handler displays with more in-depth exhibits highlighting the Daikin advantage across core competencies. If you’d like to be one of the first to check out the revamped showroom, contact Greg DiNardo to schedule a trip to Solutions Plaza.
